The Origin Story
Inspiria Guitars was founded by internationally renowned guitarist and composer Demetrio "Dimitry" Scopelliti, born from a simple vision: to create instruments that inspire musicians to push beyond boundaries and explore new sonic territories.
What began as Dimitry's personal signature series—guitars crafted to meet the demanding needs of a touring professional and recording artist—has evolved into a complete line of instruments designed to serve the modern guitarist who refuses to compromise.

Demetrio "Dimitry" Scopelliti is not just a guitar designer—he's a performing artist who lives and breathes music every day. His experience on stages worldwide, in recording studios, and collaborating with top musicians has informed every aspect of Inspiria Guitars' design philosophy. The First Design: A Collaboration of Friendship
The very first Dimitry model was born from a collaboration with Alessandro Tardivo, a lifelong friend who has been part of Dimitry's musical journey since their teenage years. Alessandro followed Dimitry's first band, Arcadia, from its origins and brought his expertise and passion to help shape that initial signature design. This spirit of collaboration and friendship continues to influence Inspiria Guitars' approach to instrument design today.
